just a weird journal entry posing a completely nonsensical question:

what is/would be/would you like to be your odd/redundant super power?


mine: the ability to poke tiny holes in objects; the holes are so tiny, that my target/victim is completely unharmed



also, i'm debating whether or not to get a laptop. if i choose to get a laptop, i will use it mainly (not solely) for the purpose of photoshop (the computer i use now is friggin slow for photoshop) and for internet. having laptop also give advantage of mobility whenever i write papers and such.

my major (BIOL) doesn't require heavy computer programs. then again, my minor (COSC) might. total cost for me will be around $1000 to $1100 (very broad range bc i'm too lazy to be accurate in the least).

another problem: although the decision is not official, i'm very likely to go to med school, which i will have to pay on my own while living on my own. this purchase may drain my money supply early. will it be worth it to have a laptop?

everyone seems to have one, but i don't want that to be the reason (subconscious or not) that i get mine, especially if costs outweigh benefits.

my current course of action: stall, save money ALWAYS!
current favored decision: don't buy it
